Bodybuilding muscle recovery:Hot/cold or cold showers?

I am okay with cold showers, im not some weak particular person i can hold the coldest for an hour if i require :D .


Just really should i do 2 min hot/2min cold or just cold for 20 minutes for muscle recovery after working out?

I never heard about this. What I know about muscel recovery is that prior to throughout and immediately after workout you ought to STRETCH since it causes a larger flow of blood via the stretched muscels and aids recovery quicker.


Also there are some food that is excellent for recovery.


I did hear, and this is science, that there are in fact some fats in our body that are not burnt in warm situations. but are burnt be experiencing cold.
